Announcing "Inspire Your Dog"
Over the years, many many adopters and visitors to Wiccaweys have asked
us if there's a book we'd recommend to help them understand their dog
and the relationship they have. We've also been told for many years
that we should write a book.
We've been working on our book "Inspire Your Dog", for the past four years, but realised that a book can become very out-of-date as soon as it's published. We wanted to be able to share new ideas and articles as we discover and learn more techniques and tips from the dogs. This has led to an exciting change in direction and the idea of a website in the format of an online magazine instead of a book was developed.
Reading "Inspire Your Dog" you’ll discover lots of advice, ideas and
general good old fashioned common sense. We steer clear from the use of
often intimidating training and behavioural ‘buzz words’ and explain
things in plain, easy to understand language.
We have stories about the history of dogs, how they’ve influenced famous historical figures and even religions. There are articles on rescue dogs, along with advice to help people diagnose and pinpoint any issues they might be having with a dog.
There will be plenty of content and new articles added regularly and subscribed members will be able to suggest ideas, topics and even submit their own doggy stories for publication on the site. Subscribed members can contribute with comments and of course contact us directly with questions about articles. The site is fully interactive, whereas a published book isn't.
It's been a lot of hard work, and we are very proud of Inspire Your Dog - we hope that everyone will enjoy reading it and become inspired themselves.
You can find the site here: http://inspireyourdog.com
Subscribing to the site for full access to all the articles is just £5.00 per month. We hope you'll take some time to check it out, and let us know what you think.
