Please check out the Wiccaweys Forum, for our latest Auction and Carboot sale to raise funds in order to save Wiccaweys, and help us relocate to new premises.
The Auction can be found on the Wiccaweys Forum at: http://www.wiccaweys.com/forum/index.php?board=72.0
We have some brilliant items available, with our Star item being a personal 1-1 training experience with the wonderful Mary Ray. For folks who watch the Crufts coverage on the tv, Mary is the lady who performs the amazing Heelwork to Music routines with her wonderful dogs, just before the Best In Show takes place.
Mary Ray is one of the leading dog trainers in the United Kingdom and is the only handler to have achieved such success in many different disciplines of dog training with the same dogs. She has been winner of the Crufts Obedience Championships three times - has qualified or won every major British dog agility competition and is the leading authority on Freestyle and Heelwork to Music, having started the sport in the United Kingdom in 1990. Mary is featured on British television on a regular basis and has instructed and/or judged throughout the world. Mary's 'An Evening with Mary Ray' exhibitions are always a complete sell-out.
This very special and unique auction item is for a personal 1-1 training experience with Mary.
You can choose your own preferred disipline - Heelwork to Music, Obedience, or Agility (agility subject to availability of equipment)
You will benefit from Mary's experience and training methods - it doesn't matter whether you are a beginner or experienced - you and your dog will have a wonderful time.
Mary rarely does 1-1 training, so this is a very special and generous gift from her to us, to help Wiccaweys continue. Please check out the auction and bid generously.
The winning bidder will not be disappointed. Mary did the same thing for us for a Christmas Draw a couple of years ago, and the winner Jane & her Wiccaweys dog Dan had an absolutely outstanding day with Mary. Mary and Dave really pulled out all the stops to make their prize something special.
The winner will have an amazing experience.

Wiccaweys Store - Collie goodies to be had!
After some intense hard work, we can now announce that Wiccaweys now has an online store - and those pictures above are just some of the designs and items available RIGHT NOW!
The store has over 130 items for sale, with loads of cool designs, so please check it out. All the designs are exclusive to Wiccaweys. There are over 30 different designs to choose from in there, plus you can look at tee shirts, clocks, mugs, jigsaw puzzles, caps, children's clothing, etc.
All the designs are exclusive to Wiccaweys (Paul designed them all) so the only place to get these items is this online store.
To let you know how it works, a company runs the store for us (purchases, returns, queries etc), so it's a really good way to have a store without taking up a lot of our time with the day to day running of it. Wiccaweys is paid the profit after costs have been taken away.
It's really good, we're very excited by it, and hope you like it. Please tell as many people as you can because hopefully this will become an excellent fundraising scheme for Wiccaweys.
You can visit the store here:

Helping others
Saturday was a nice day. We had a visit from Sara & Steve from HULA Animal Rescue in Bedfordshire. They bought up a long stay collie boy with them for an assessment.
We have had a lovely email from Sara saying "a massive thank you, we both learned so much about the breed and we can take back all that useful information and start using it. It was good that Steve came as he is the manager at Hula and he can now see that where possible the dogs should be exercised more together. We are going to build a big exercise area in our main field."
That is fantastic news. And we are really happy to be able to help.

Update
Well, the enforcement visit didn't happen on Friday. The Council cancelled the appointment at the last minute due to 'illness.' We are waiting for another appointment to be arranged.
That doesn't help us as we are still in a state of limbo. They don't seem to realise they are playing with lives here, or perhaps they just don't care.
Well, they are not the ones who have to bear the conscience of the deaths of 3 12wk old collie puppies that were shot dead by their owner because we couldn't move fast enough to find a foster home to take them in.
If I'd been able to say just bring them in now as normal, to the person requesting help, they would have been able to go and get them from the farm and bring them to safety immediately.
Because we couldn't do that, thanks to Rugby Borough Council, and we took a day or so to organise a foster home....... well, you know the outcome. They are not the ones crying and feeling the weight of every dog we are unable to help and save at the moment. Perhaps THEY should try living with that feeling!
We ARE thankful of all the emails, letters and telephone calls of support we have received. It lifts our spirits to know that so many people are behind us and supporting for us.
